Basic Dog Obedience Class Class objective: To provide instruction to dog and owner in basic dog obedience and simple commands through behavior modification using positive reinforcement. Procedure: We use demonstration by the instructor to model the dogs behavior and stress practice and application. Our classes are: Session 1) Introduction and orientation Session 2) Learning basic Sit command & homework assigned Session 3) Learning basic Stay command & homework assigned. Session 4) Learning basic Stand command & homework assigned. Session 5) Learning basic Down command & homework assigned. Session 6) Learning basic Come command & homework assigned. Session 7) Applying all the skills learned (Graduation and Reward)
Class Supplies Needed: Non-retractable leash, collar, your dog's favorite small soft treat such as liver or chicken.
